My hourly rate is $75.00 for consulting services, including program inception and application preparation. Average total for initial application preparation is 6-12 hours depending on the complexity of the application and familiarity with the organization. Ongoing management to include funding requests, performance reports, audits, amendments and closeout reports are completed by Shamrock Consulting and are included in the management fee detailed in the chart below.
Please note that charges on this fee schedule are not reimbursable and are the
responsibility of the contracting agency to pay. Management fees are payable only on
approval of the grant application and percentage is based on the total application amount
to include the federal award and local match.

A flat rate fee of $1,000.00-$5,000.00 is based on the complexity of the application
and will be negotiated prior to the start of the application. Payment is due upon
application completion and submission. This fee is due regardless of ultimate approval
or denial of application. The applicant can choose to apply for reimbursement through
the application process and in theory this should not affect the competitive rating of
your application. There is no refund of money if application is not approved.
Please note that the fee schedule below is based on preparation of the Assistance to Firefighters Family of Grants (SAFER, AFG, Fire Prevention) and preparation of other grant proposals may vary, as will the applicable fees and charges.
